Lyrics (Copy Master)
This song celebrates the grace of God in baptism.  Baptism connects us with Christ's saving work.  We are baptized into the new life in Christ which points us to the resurrection.

You could call this a re-manufactured hymn.  The text was written by Thomas Kingo (1634-1703) and translated by George A.T. Rygh (1860-1943) and has been paired with the tune Es ist das Heil.  What I have done with this song is taken this Lutheran hymn and put it in a simple contemporary setting to make it accessible to those worshiping in a contemporary style.  The only change to the text is the addition of an Alleluia at the end of each verse.

All who believe and are baptized
Shall see the Lord’s salvation
Baptized into the death of Christ
They are a new creation
Through Christ’s redemption they will stand
Among the glorious heav’nly band

Of ev’ry tribe and nation Alleluia

With one accord O God we pray
Grant us your Holy Spirit
Help us in our infirmity
Through Jesus blood and merit
Grant us to grow in grace each day
By holy Baptism that we may
Eternal life inherit  Alleluia
