Lyrics
This song is based on the traditional Trinitarian doxology, the Gloria Patri.  In an age of spiritual curiosity as well as spiritual confusion, it is important be be clear about what we mean when we say "God."  As Christians, we worship a Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Each verse focuses on the activity of one of the persons of the Trinity.  We worship and praise a God who is, was, and will be actively involved in the lives of His people.  The song seeks to review the mighty works of God in a context of praise.  This simple, upbeat anthem is written to be easily learned and sung by the congregation.

Glory be, Glory be to the Father
Glory be, Glory be to the Son our Lord
Glory be to the Spirit
As it was and is and ever shall be
Glory be, Glory be to our God
Amen

Father, your praise we sing
Maker of everything
Giver of life, author of love
Answering when we pray
Providing for each new day
Blessing in every way with gifts from above

Jesus, your praise we sing
Savior and Lord and King
Laid down your life, no greater love
Taking away our sin
Eternal life to win
Giving us peace within our hearts where you reign

Spirit, your praise we sing
Faith in Christ you bring
Fruitful life, gifts of your love
Teaching our hearts to share
Moving us to declare
With everyone everywhere our Savior and his love
