This upbeat song celebrates justification.  We are totally unworthy of the forgiveness and grace that we have received from God.  But our saving God has declared us righteous for Jesus' sake.  This righteousness of Christ is ours through faith in him alone.  Knowing that our God is a saving God enables us to approach Him without fear.  We confess our sins, and receive anew the forgiveness which Christ won for us by his death and resurrection.
