Nearly every year since I have served as pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, I have written a song for the theme for our school, St. John's Lutheran School. Most of these songs are intentionally simple so that they can be learned by the school children relatively quickly, then sung throughout the year at School Chapels in order to reinforce the faith.
