What Shall I Offer You (Offertory)

Background

This is a liturgical offertory song. The text, based on the end of Psalm 116, is a bold commitment to honor and praise the name of the Lord who has blessed us so richly. In the context of Psalm 116, the Lord has blessed the psalm writer by delivering from the grave itself. The response is a commitment to worship the Lord, to fulfill vows, and to make an offering to the praise of His name.

This is obviously an appropriate liturgical offertory, but it has uses in other contexts as well.
