Jesus' invitation in John 7:37-38 promises life now and in eternity.  He quenches our spiritual thirst with the gift of the Holy Spirit, welling up like a never-failing stream within.

This simple flowing song was written for the dedication of the Faith Chapel at St. John's Lutheran Church.  This is an outdoor sanctuary which includes a fountain of flowing water at the base of a large wooden cross.  On the fountain are engraved the words of John 7:38.

If anyone thirsts
Let him come to me and drink
If anyone thirsts
Let him come to me and drink

Whoever believes in me
As the Scripture has said
Streams of living water will flow
Will flow from within him
