This song is written as a blessing at a baptism.  God is present and active in baptism, as He puts His name upon the baptized and brings them into His covenant.  This song speaks about the blessings that are part of that gift, and speaks a blessing upon the person baptized.

I wrote this song for the baptism of my grandson, Wyatt.
