Glory to God (Gloria in Excelsis)
Background
This is the “Glory to God in the Highest” from the traditional western liturgy. This ancient text is a powerful hymn of praise to the Lord who has forgiven our sins, and hears our prayers. Although written for the liturgy, it can be used as a praise song. This is part of the Manchester Setting of the liturgy. For other liturgical songs, click here. |
