I wrote this song for my parents’ 60th wedding anniversary. How does a marriage not merely survive, but thrive that long? The traditional wedding vows give expression to a commitment of unconditional love. It is in the living of these promises that we find the key to the love which lies at the heart of marriage. This unconditional love is pictured most beautifully in the love of Christ for His bride, the Church.
